Collingrove Homestead is an authentic Barossa Mansion located in the beautiful Barossa Valley. Built in 1856 by the South Australian pioneer John Angas as a little piece of England for his wife Suzanne. The twelve acres of land consist of a large lawn area and manicured gardens surrounding the homestead. Beyond the gardens are rustic paddocks complete with century old trees. The grounds are peaceful and serene and home to many native birds.
Collingrove is a boutique wedding venue and each couple has exclusive use of all facilities. Well suited to host both ceremony and receptions on the expansive grounds. Receptions are held on the front lawns with the homestead as the backdrop, our spectacular pavilion is immersed in the garden and surrounded in greenery.
Some beautiful ceremony areas include under the circa 1860 English Oak Tree or the centuries old Gum Trees. There are many photo opportunities including the stunning facade, large verandahs, rustic paddocks and English style gardens. The interior is also available for photographs and is still furnished with the original family antiques making it real and not an interpretation of the era.
Collingrove is able to cater for both stand-up cocktail or seated functions.
Stately and magnificent yet humble and homely, Collingrove Homestead has a
lovely synergy that makes for a wonderful venue.
